Notes of Spring Aromatic Oolong
The dry tea leaves of Notes of Spring Aromatic Oolong radiate an attractive floral aroma. It’s like the fragrance of osmanthus, jasmine, plumeria, or a bouquet of mixed flowers. This aroma is natural, not artificially scented nor synthesized with chemical additives. It is the result of tea processing, which is peculiar to Taiwan Oolong tea.
The fragrance of Notes of Spring Aromatic Oolong is open and enlightening, and is stronger for the first steep. A deep inhale in the beginning of the day refreshes the whole body and the mind. After sipping, let the tea stay in the mouth for a while. A sweet and smooth feeling with floral notes begins to flow from the tip and the sides to the end of the tongue. A soothing fullness wafts through the front, the top and the end of the palate. After swallowing the tea, there is an aftertaste of slight sweetness which lingers and makes the mouth watery. This is a good wake-up drink for the morning, as well as a wonderful beginning treat for people starting to taste Taiwan Oolong tea. Using Notes of Spring Aromatic Oolong as a daily drink for the family is also an extremely good choice.
The tea plants of Notes of Spring Aromatic Oolong are grown in the mid level mountain in Nantou, Taiwan. They belong to the small leaf type of Wuyi Oolong. After collecting the tea leaves, the tea makers have to go through numerous steps of Taiwan Oolong processing. The final product is tiny round beads that have a dark green colour. After steeping, the tightly rolled tea leaves open up fully and display the typical characteristics of reddish lining that only good quality Oolong will show.
